official staff of the Lieut. General Commanding the Trans-Mississippi Department U. C. V. to rank as such from the

performing all manner of things pertaining thereto and thereunto belonging. And I do strictly charge and require
all officers, and also all members of the United Confederate Veteran Camps under my command, to be obedient to
his orders as such Q^-^-&J2--$-=^^3^9^^ 	
And he is to observe and follow such orders and directions from time to time as he shall receive from me.

down in the Constitution and By-Laws governing the United Confederate Veterans. This Commission to continue
in force during the pleasure of the General Commanding, or until his successor shall have been duly elected, appointed
or commissioned.
